After over a decade at its current location on Euclid Avenue near Cleveland State University, Peabody’s Concert Club will be on the move by the fall. The Plain Dealer has reported that the space which club owner Chris Zitterbart leases will be razed to make room for a new CSU health innovation center. The Rascal House pizza shop will also relocate. The news broke a little early for Zitterbart, who had hoped to nail down a new location before it was announced he had to vacate the old space.
“I didn’t know when the Rascal House was going to close and that changes my timing,” he says. “ I was hoping to wait for the summer when I could make a big formal announcement but it’s out there. I have a few very interesting opportunities that I’m excited about. I want to make sure we’re making the right decision long-term. It was a matter of time before we were going to move with the CSU development. It’s not a shock or surprise. The biggest thing is making sure we end up in the best situation possible and I think we’re on the right path.”

they should take over McCarthy’s in the Flats
they should just close..that place is known to rip off local bands and screw them over any way they can..
Would love to see them resurrect the old Odeon in the flats. Is that building still around?
Cameron – odeon building is still there. I believe it is currently the ‘Earth’ nightclub
Renovate and bring back something from the past – tons of great options around, so no need to build a new building. Keep the history alive!
I do not want peabodys to be apart of the agora… they r 2 diff places.. 2 different vibes… make peabodys back in the flats again but make it bigger I love peabodys and agora just don’t want them in the same place… I bet there is a theater around not being used they could open the floor up have a big capacity `and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS make those bathrooms nicer then they have been … LIKE THE HOUSE OF BLUES HAS THE NICEST BATHROOMS IN A CONCERT CLUB IVE SEEN RIP PEABODYS EAST 21ST STREET LOCATION I WILL MISS YOU
Please keep Peabody’s in Cleveland at least. But make it nice. Clean restrooms lol xD But please dont take it away forever!!! We need a place in Cleveland with an open floor for concerts of that genre.
