Halloween-enthusiast and 1990s Tribe star Albert Belle stopped by Indians spring training in Arizona today, a special guest joining other golden-era Wahoos like Kenny Lofton, Carlos Baerga, and Sandy Alomar in Goodyear.
Belle retired after his hips began breaking down, a sign of a degenerative disease or a mystical symptom of Belle’s super-accelerated aging. The latter theory is backed up by this snapshot.
Um, who wants to join Albert at The Olive Garden for dinner at 4:15?

Heheh…That was mean…But fricken’ funny!!!
I liked when he chased that kid around his neighborhood. And when he broke his bats over his knee..and did not he want to be or not want to be called Joey? He sure could hit a baseball, but he didn’t have much of a sense of humor.
went to his last AAA game at the opening of the Thurman Munson Stadium (Canton) before we called him up. he was big, stupid and cocky and hit the ball about 2 miles.
That’s one ex-Indian I don’t miss whatsoever.
Looks like the years have caught up with him fast.
