It’s almost impossible to categorize every brilliant detail of this masterpiece. This Cory Snyder poster was one of many from Costacos Bros., the fine folks who designed just about every awesome sports poster kids had on their walls in the 80s.
Up until a few days ago, the internet was bereft of an image of the classic Snyder “Gunsmoke” design, but thankfully someone sent an image to MLB writer Anthony Castrovince to share with the world, finally righting a longstanding wrong for all Tribe… nay… all baseball fans.

This article appears in May 4-10, 2011.

A side rant which was never really looked at or mentioned the day it happened….and Cory Snyder brought back memories of the old late 80’s earlu 90’s tribe, and Joel Skinner came to mind…..where is joel skinner??,,u know the idiot who blew the possible trip to the 2007 world series when we had a 3-1 game lead against boston, and that idiot joel skinner held up one of the fastest base runners in the game..you know…kenny lofton, yeah that bozo manny was bobblin the ball in left field and lofton hauln asssss had enough time to round third and walk home, but nooooo skinner holds him up, and we lose ,,lose again and again, and series is over,,,pffffft! ! ! ! ! Hit me up on that thought tribe fans !!!!!
