Pinecrest has just announced its schedule of holiday happenings and grand opening celebrations. Illumin18, its inaugural holiday lighting event, takes place on Sunday. It’ll include family-friendly activities and performances, including the opening of its Central Park skating rink. Ohio City Singers, the local ensemble that plays original Christmas music, will perform at 4:30 p.m., and there will be an outdoor showing of The Polar Express.

In addition, starting this weekend, historic Higbee’s displays can be seen at the south end of Park Ave. between REI and West Elm.

Mingle with Kringle, an opportunity for kids to meet Santa Claus, launches on Nov. 23, and there will be candlemaking with Santa at the Candle Studio, painting with Santa at Color Me Mine, and bowling and brunch with Santa at Pinstripes.

More retailer and restaurant openings are planned through the end of the year.
Condado Tacos and the Woodhouse Day Spa open this week. Restore Cold Pressed, Duck Donuts, Next Door American Eatery and THREAD are slated to open in the coming weeks as well.

  1. Great! Now bring in busloads of thugs from the ghetto, give them chainsaws, and have them cut down all the trees they accidentally left when they built that shit, and the junk across the street.
Oh, it seems they already do that.
    Happy freaking Christmas!

  2. I have yet to have anyone tell me why Cleveland needed another retail mall type place when they are closing all over the area.
