Update: Make that 80 guns, not 57. And add in 874 boxes of ammunition. The priest, now identified as Abbot John Henry, went to the hospital voluntarily and police continue their investigation, which may include other properties owned by Henry. (WKYC)

A priest at St. Herman’s, an Orthodox monastery on Franklin Avenue catering to the area’s homeless, was apparently dong his best impression of Delonte West. Fox 8 reports that cops were called to the building Friday night because the priest, whose name has not been released yet, was acting strange.
There they found 57 guns, which they confiscated.
No charges have been filed, but the priest was taken to Lutheran Hospital for a psych evaluation, probably out of concern he was going to go all Desperado with his stockpile of ammunition.

Maybe he was arming the weak and infirm and also assisting them in getting their concealed carry permits, and no I’m not being facetious. The police need to keep out of this one. As far as I know there is no law limiting the number of guns one can own. If he broke no law, which he didn’t, he doesn’t have to answer to anyone.
If he is sane Give the man his guns back….
