(Ed. Note: We realize now that this sign is not only old, but wasn’t even snapped in Cleveland. That’s what we get for believing the random texter who sent it to Alan Cox from WMMS. Either way, we still love it and have a strange hankering for a Whopper for breakfast.)

  1. I have relied on the Scene to give factual, unbiased real news for over 35 years. You have been my choice over the plain dealer for sure when it came to the county scandal, Warren police and other stories. Take time to fact-check about even small things like this so that stuff like this can be avoided. It has been almost 10-15 years since a whopper was sold in East Cleveland. Being that I was a resident when the city was 98% white and clean, long before the Lakeview Riot and the “Black Power” movement that ravaged the city, I used to work there and remember when it closed.

    we can all do better.
