In concert with the National Moment of Silence planned for tonight, Clevelanders will gather at the Cleveland Public Library at 7 p.m. From the organizers: “This is in memory of Mike Brown and all others slain due to police brutality. We are looking to have a peaceful event. Make posters and let our silence speak for us!”
Also, at 6:30 p.m. others will be gathering at the Free Stamp to rally against police brutality. In contrast to the vigil at CPL, this event will include a march. “We plan to take action on the grassroots level,” the organizers of that event write.
