An old time Browns fan left a voicemail yesterday weighing in on this week’s feature story, “Forgotten Forefathers,” about ailing and broke retired NFL players. This guy could teach Dick Feagler a thing or two about how to properly remember the good old days: I would like to thank you so much for the excellent, excellent article in the latest issue in Scene, “Forgotten Forefathers”. I’m 74, and I watched the Browns from the beginning. What the prima donnas today don’t realize; these guys used to have to have summer jobs to make ends meet.
