In case you missed the sad news over the weekend, Rocco Scotti, most famous around here for delivering the National Anthem at scores of Tribe home games over the years (but famous the world over for more reasons than that), passed away Friday at the age of 95.   1. Rocco Scotti was the voice of the ball-club at Cleveland Stadium…..though it has never been fully explained why he was persona non grata at “The Jake” until – finally – being invited to sing the national anthem at the 2001 Opening Day.
