The Akron Beacon Journal pointed out today that Howard Hanna is listing the property among its RNC-ready rental options.
Based on published photos, it seems like a charming three-bedroom tucked just a stone’s throw away from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
From the ABJ:
The house was where Dahmer killed and dismembered Steven M. Hicks of Coventry Township in 1978 and then scattered Hicks’ remains on the property.Dahmer moved to Wisconsin in 1982 and murdered 16 more victims. He was killed in prison in 1994.
But the house has more interest than just that dark chapter of its past. Its current owner, Chris Butler, has achieved his own fame as founder of the new wave band The Waitresses and writer of songs including I Know What Boys Like and Christmas Wrapping.

Before he graduated to killing human beings, Jeffy Boy brought home road kill for his “experiments” (sorry, Tom Lehrer) and then began torturing and killing small animals on the property–mostly cats.
So if you elitist bastards DO decide to blow your ill-gotten loot there, dear Gee-Oh-Pee-ers, you’ll be staying at the site of a “Kitty Auschwitz.”
Just a little heads-up for your edification, elucidation, and enlightenment…
Enjoy…
Chuckles the Clown (not laughing)
The rental should be a no-brainer for Rick Perry.
