Already this summer paint primer was leaked into the lake, a government report described the great lakes as being in bad condition and one lakeside resort built a pool so customers didn’t have to swim in the lake’s questionable depths. This all on top of President Trump attempting to cut funding for the cleanup of the waters.
Thursday, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and research partners released its algae forecast, predicting that the bloom could be potentially harmful. However, they don’t expect it to reach the huge level of the 2011 and 2015 blooms.

The pool is awesome but lots of the people still like the dock and lake swimming,sandcastle building and sailing.
There will always be monitoring of the beach water and if the bloom is toxic or questionable the beach is then closed.
Here’s hoping it won’t be too bad.
