Looking to do some unique holiday shopping for some extra special people on your list this weekend? Skip the mall, leave the suburbs and head to MOCA Cleveland. Now in its 11th year, MOCA Cleveland’s ARTSCAPE is a special shopping experience, offering a carefully curated selection of one-of-a-kind gifts, jewelry and accessories from 30 local and national designers and artisans.

MOCA hosts an early shopping party from 5 to 9 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 13. Friday’s preview includes a cash bar, light hors d'oeuvres and a chance to browse and purchase these unique gifts before the bigger crowds on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10; free for members (Tickets are available here.)

ARTSCAPE continues throughout the weekend from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15. Saturday and Sunday are free (admission required for gallery exhibitions).

"This year's Artscape weekend offers an outstanding mix of returning favorite vendors along with many exciting new vendors and lines,” promises MOCA Store manager Desiree Kellers. “New category items include glass, leather handbags, clothing and handmade items like soap. With the event now in its 11th year, we hope that newcomers will discover what our dedicated following has known for years: this is a terrific, one-of-a-kind opportunity to find unique holiday gifts for the stylish and design-savvy people on your list. These gifts are a compelling alternative to all the mass-produced things you would find at the mall on Black Friday. Of course, most if not all of our shoppers also do some self-gifting, acquiring great finds for themselves. We encourage everyone to bring friends to the early shopping event and party on Friday night — it's a social event with a cash bar and first access to this year's vendors. MOCA's galleries will be open late on Friday night and throughout the weekend."

This year’s vendors include Allie M. Designs, Catherine Butler Jewelry, Clearblur Design, Cleveland Recycles, Deborah Woolfork, Ellen Schmidt, Emily R. Studio, Ericka Original, Four Fish Ink, Freddy Hill, Gai Russo, Images in Bloom, J. Hos, Lisa Burroughs, Michelle Pajak-Reynolds, Ninna Nanna, No Grime Left Behind, Orlando Pottery, Patti Fields, R. Levine, Red-I Jewelry, Sarah Krishner Studio, Shayna Roth Pentecost Glass, Stacey Bennet, Studio KMR Photography, Tidal Cool, Valerie Tyler Collection and Wanderlust.
