Current season pass holders are the only people eligible to purchase the Fast Lane Plus season pass beginning April 23, meaning the price of the new pass is in addition to park admission. However, Cedar Point is offering a payment plan of $120 per month for five months, including an initial down payment of $249.
After introducing the daily Fast Lane pass in 2012, which costs between $65 and $155, the popular theme park received criticisms that the pass made regular lines longer for those who couldn’t pay more. An the same could be said about the new Fast Lane Plus pass.
Cedar Point executives argue the Fast Lane pass generates money that lets them keep general admission prices reasonable, and that it gives out-of-state visitors the opportunity to experience every coaster in one day.
The new Fast Lane Plus pass offers the roller coasters usually included in the daily Fast Pass, and the two share the same fast lanes, but the new one also includes Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Gatekeeper, Valravn and Top Thrill Dragster.
Those who can afford the new pass this upcoming season, opening May 11, are sure to enjoy a great thrill.

This is a slap in the face of all the FAMILIES that have supported Cedar Point for years. To now allow the rich to bypass lines, moving ahead of all others, is outrageous and unjust! This truly should disgust anyone who is forced to save for a day at the park! SHAME ON YOU CEDAR POINT!
