The annual Weapons of Mass Creation Fest, which features dozens of speakers, graphic designers, and bands, will kick off it’s 3-day festival tomorrow evening at the Gordon Square Arts District on Detroit Ave.

Now in its fourth year, Weapons of Mass Creation is the once-a-year fest that brings together young grassroots artists who seek to inspire and enable each other through design work and music.

What started as just a nugget of an idea of Go Media designer Jeff Finley, Weapons of Mass Creation now boasts the title as the biggest graphic design festival in the Midwest. With designers and musicians hailing from around the country, it’s no surprise that some pretty stellar work is displayed over the long weekend.
