“The cherry blossom trees around Wade Lagoon are progressing – buds are more prominent now and showing hints of color, but we’re not quite at peak bloom yet. You can expect a beautiful transformation in the coming days as temperatures warm up,” the site reports.
The weather indeed seems to have remembered that we’ve turned the page to spring, with warmer temps arriving this weekend.
Cherry Blossoms are, of course, one of the best and most obvious harbingers of the season in the area.
UCI says to avoid crowds it’s best to undertake your viewing experience early in the morning or late at night and on weekdays as opposed to weekends, but they’re not your boss, so do what you want.
