Northeast Ohio can claim to be the home of the America’s biggest Harry Potter fan. We say “can” because… well, we’re not sure anyone wants to admit that fact out loud.
Steve Petrick, a 22-year-old Kent State student, won an online vote by Moviefone.com to officially take home the crown. His video submission, which showcases his collection of over $13,000-worth of Potter-related memorabilia, has over 1 million hits on YouTube.
So what makes him the biggest fan? He’s read each of the seven books over a hundred times, has four Harry Potter-inspired tattoos, and hundreds and hundreds of collectibles accumulated over the last twelve years of his obviously fervent fandom.
A compilation of our favorite quotes from Petrick in the Kent Wired article (and his YouTube video) after the jump.

Okay, how you get to this level of collecting anything is by being crazy as a shithouse rat. Obsessive compulsive. You name it. I’m sure the guy has numerous other issues this article isn’t measuring. He would make someone’s Master’s Thesis.
