Dear suburban residents:

There are legitimate reasons to call the cops. Theft, assault, robbery, someone driving in the fast lane while talking on a cell phone and going 50 mph. All good reasons.

Not good reasons: geese.

Via Strongsville Patch:

A passerby complained that someone had arranged carts around some geese and their babies in the TJ Maxx parking lot April 6, trapping the birds.

Police found the geese were actually on an island, and someone had put carts and cones in the handicapped spot next to the island so no one parked too close.

The geese were all free to come and go as they pleased, a report said.

  1. Plasticville–home of those bozos wh’ve been seen several million times on You Tube in the last four years…the clowns who called the POTUS a Muslim Commie Terrorist…while waiting in line to see Sarah Palin.

Unfortunately, I have relatives in a McMansion down there, and have to go there several times a year. I hate the damn place.

  2. Cleveland residents call 911 when they have a headache. hemorrhoids,Keys locked in the car, the flu, anything and everything. When you see how a few firefighters have made the Cleveland fire department look bad (hint, your not being told anything remotely accurate. do you really think we make $1,000 a day? as Safety director flask stated or that firefighters didn’t show up for work for years? Cmon people!) Strongsville is nothing compared to the entitlement runs Cleveland resident have. Ducks? Please. How about hearing over the radio that there are no ambulances available for four firefighters doing CPR on a full arrest patient while you are with EMS at the home of a hemorrhoids patient who “can’t” drive herself to her own doctor. Someone needs to do something before more people get killed.

  3. How do you think that someone has trapped animals when there is a barrier of carts on only one side of them? Oh yeah, I forget, the person who reported this was an idiot. A kind, goose-loving idiot at that, but an idiot nonetheless.

  4. Geese, though nice to look at, can be very territorial and protective of their newborn. It is best to keep your distance and refrain from things like trying to pick up a baby goose.
