Beyond the writing style, which is engrossing, accessible, and generally awesome, Posnanski has an uncanny ability of weaving entertaining, non-sports related stories into his posts while taking the longview on all things baseball. He’s way ahead of the curve when it comes to mainstream media writers utilizing the scary world of the blogosphere, and does it better than most bloggers. Even though it’s written by a beat writer for the Royals, and that team is often a topic, baseball fans of all allegiances – and especially us homers from Cleveland — should devour his work.
