The Bon Jovi concert isn’t happening, according to sources close to News Channel 5, and no one knows why. The Browns aren’t talking, but we suspect they’re probably super embarrassed after making such a huge fucking deal over their “Major Announcement” at the end of May.

Michael Stanley was also slated to perform, and some sort of pep rally was in the works.

The terrific PR for Haslam and Co. just does not stop!

  3. No loss. I couldn’t stand them (Bon Jovi) in the 80’s and i sure don’t need to hear them now. And i can do without Michael Stanley and the Resin Scrapers too. Want to see a great show? Then go see Black Joe Lewis and The Honey Bears at The Grog Shop in September. It’s only 13$ and you’ll be quite entertained.

  5. I heard Joe Banner told Bon Jovi they weren’t allowed to talk or sing and that Joe was going to replace Jon as the lead singer or they had to cancel. I also hear the Browns/Pilot couldn’t put a down payment to Jovi in cash so they offered diesel fuel instead and Jovi declined.

    I wouldn’t expect a detailed explanation from the current Clowns regime on this matter.

  6. Bon Jovi probably found out that Haslem was going to skim money from his paycheck in some kind of elaborate rebate scam and pulled the plug on the show in response. Haslem comes into town and takes one step forward…..then five steps back.

  7. Bon Jovi is a washed up, fad following hack. Which one was booked-rock Bon Jovi or country Bon Jovi? Was Jon going to spit on his fans again like he’s done before in concert? Now you don’t need to worry about it.

    This leaves you free to book a real band & creates hope your season could start out right. Go with a local Cleveland band-lots with more talent & integrity than Bon Jovi.

  8. Just put a U next to the F because that’s what Haslem & Co. is going to do to Cleveland. I have a bad feeling about this guy,reminds me of Art Modell.
