The Black Keys are sponsoring the West Akron Baseball League this year and recently hooked the youngsters up with some rock-star jerseys.

Keys drummer Patrick Carney told TZM that he used to play for the team and wanted to give back.

The team’s president said it only cost the Keys $300 to make it happen and that everyone on the team couldn’t have been happier with the band’s involvement, reported TZM.

Pics posted on the team’s Facebook page show the ball players sporting their new gear and looking pretty pumped.

The best part? Carney and his band mate Dan Auerbach told the team to mail them the jerseys after the season is over. They promised to autograph every single one.
