We’re not gonna talk about every single TV show the Black Keys play the next few weeks. Things would just get way too crazy with that, since they’re playing, like, all of them.
Plus, they don’t live here anymore.
But since their new album, El Camino, came out yesterday, and tickets for their show at the Q in March go on sale Friday, we figured we’d share these two clips from The Colbert Report last night.

Hard to beat being plugged by Colbert. He is maybe the best comedy guy in today’s big hitters. Maybe he will plug Cleveland a little. Colbert is like a cross between Andy K, back in the day and Jack Benny and a few others. Delivery is everything.
When Andy was attacked by the King, I did not even realize that the King and I had been friends in the early sixties. Jerry Lawler and I lived on Axtel Street in Amherst, Ohio. He knows me pretty good but since I became wildly liberal he has cut me off. Can’t blame him none. Everyone has cut me off..No Christmas cards and no invites from the republican side of my relationships..which includes most of my family and past business partners. I say just like my main man Jesus said..and I paraphrase..”Fuck em’, feed em’ fish” I got some frozen lake erie fish with some freezer burn.. You all bring the wine.
There is a case in Oregon which ruled in favor of a lawyer over a blogger claiming to be a jounalist. The very definition is going to be tested quite a bit in the near future. The blogger is being brought to justice for calling a lawyer a thug and a prick. The lawyer claims because of her blogs he has lost business, and his right to screw people legally and with the systems approval. So long as we allow lawyers, MBA’s and their fancy bean-counters to run our businesses and our country we will have dysfunction and we will remain wrapped in litigation through out eternity. We had a chance before we turned our businesses over to lawyers, MBA’s and their accountants..but now that they are in full possession and thus control, it will take some real tough people to get back the country from them. OWS has done a fine job of spear-heading this message and now it is up to the people to take back our businesses and our country from the legal and bean-counting control-freaks.
You want to get some manufacturing job back where they started? Forget about anything other than running our businesses by lawyers and MBA’s who have been trained in bottom line bean counting business classes which worship profit above humanity. They feel they have no responsibility to the people of the locations in which they became wealthy and powerful. There were ways to keep our light manufacturing jobs but we gave the green light to the greedy profit-oriented new breed of business thug and their lawyers and bean-counters.
