Soprano Dorota Sobieska stars as Manon Lescaut, and the chorus of the Cleveland Opera will add singers, old beaux and abbés, girls, townsfolk, students, courtesans and archers.
Part of the canon of major operas, Manon Lescaut hasn’t been performed in Cleveland for decades, if ever. For 2019-2020, only major opera houses such as the Met and the San Francisco Opera will produce it.
The performances here take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, and at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Tickets cost $55 for Reserved Sponsor Seating, $25 for general admission. Student tickets for $10 are available online too. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash or check).
