I have been waiting for someone to come forth and tell the truth about what goes on in the White Hat Management schools [“Education at its Worst,” August 29]. I was employed at Life Skills and can tell you about the illegal and immoral drama that plagues the schools and employees. It seems White Hat has current and former employees under a spell that if they disclose the truth, something terrible could happen. Thank you.

That is the truth. The same thing is the case at White Hat Management’s PDELA. (a.k.a.: PDLCS–Pennylvania Distance Learning Charter School). All of these charter schools need to be scrutinized much more closely. Then and only then, will the states find out just how much money David Brennan is pocketing at taxpayer expense and the expense of the students that expect to get an education.
