JDevil, the DJ alter ego of Korn singer Jonathan Davis, was originally scheduled to open for Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie on their “Twins of Evil Tour.” But his publicist has issued a statement saying, “It is with unfortunate regret that JDevil (Jonathan Davis of KORN) will no longer be able to join Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on their co-headling Twins Of Evil Tour this October. Due to exhaustion from his recent eight-week overseas tour with KORN, Davis’ doctors have advised him to refrain from travel for the next few weeks while he recuperates. A spokesperson from JDevil’s mgmt team says, ‘We know how much he was looking forward to going out with his good friends Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, performing as JDevil for their crowd. We anticipate a full recovery.’” Even though Davis won’t perform with Zombie and Manson when their tour comes to the Covelli Center in Youngstown on Monday, Peabody’s is banking on a quick recovery and has just announced that JDevil will perform at the club at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Living Dead and Thunder St. Clair open, and tickets are $15 ADV, $20 DOS.
