Tickets that were previously purchased will still be honored for the rescheduled date.
The event schedule is still set to be the same, with food trucks, a kids zone and local music going from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Then at 9:30 p.m., attendees can send their paper lanterns with messages of hope and love and whatnot into Lake Erie. The floating lanterns are lit with LED lights, so no fire is involved. At the end of the night, event workers corral all of the lanterns back to shore.
The Water Lantern Festival is also hitting up other major Ohio cities this summer. Find tickets for the new Cleveland date right here.
