The countdown to the holiday season has begun, but what about the shopping? You’ve probably failed to fill the sleigh at this point, all to avoid all the craziness happening at the malls. There are, however, some ways to shop local and find some worthwhile presents. Our newly released Gift Guide is a good place to start, as are these three last minute markets. Happy shopping.

Heights Art Holiday Store – Now through Dec. 30 

The Heights Art gallery on Lee Road showcases upwards of 80 Cleveland artists for its holiday store. Here, shoppers can snag things like ceramics, scarves, handmade cards and “distinctive holiday items.” The store is open even after Christmas so you can conveniently purchase those forgotten gifts. 

Holiday Market at Twilight –  Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Located in the Warehouse District, Holiday Market at Twilight is bringing together Cleveland businesses like Krush, Banyan Box and Bank Street Wine & Spirits for a one-stop shop. There will also be pop-up venders touting vintage gets like clothes, accessories and housewares. 

Last Minute Market – Saturday, Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Just as the name states, this one-day marketplace at the Galleria is just for those who have pushed off the Christmas shopping. There will be more than 100 hand-selected artists and crafters, offering their original work for purchase. From jewelry to fine art, there’s a good chance you’ll knock out your holiday list.
