Update III: The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office on Friday dropped the charges against Tom Ganley. According to WOIO, Assistant County Prosecutor Blaise Thomas said, “After further investigating the case of State v Ganley and consulting with the victim, this office made a determination to dismiss the case. This decision represents the desire of the victim not to go forward to trial. A motion was filed today with the court to enter a dismissal of the case without prejudice. (WOIO)

Update II: 19 Action News is reporting a grand jury brought an indictment against Tom Ganley, charging him with gross sexual imposition and kidnapping after hearing the case. (WOIO)

  1. Boy, if this isn’t political dirty tricks I don’t know what is. The woman never went to the police or anyone else, but waits until absentee voting starts to go public. If Tom Ganley weren’t on the verge of winning this race we would not be hearing this story.

I don’t know which pisses me off more;this ridiculous story which was moth eaten in a 1933 B-movie,or the fact that the Democrats think I’m so brain-dead,I’d buy into it.Any reasonably intelligent 6 year old would realize that when the party in power is gonna get their clock cleaned,they will be trying everything to staunch the bleeding.And after all the Dimora revelations,now I’m supposed to believe this dust covered nonsense from one of his operatives?

  3. I will tell you, If the common man on the street understood exactly how the court systems worked they would be shocked. The political party that controls the courts, controls the destiny of an individual that is trying to run for political office. It is unbelievable how they can turn to tables and you end up the criminal.
