  1. This film looks like yet another who-cares tough guy movie with a semblance of a story that will pale in comparison to Gran Torino, Pulp Fiction, Boondock Saints, Die Hard, The Transporter, Reservoir Dogs, Scarface, The Godfather, Goodfellas and a slew of much, much better films. I promise you will walk away from this neither remembering nor caring anything about it. AND they didn’t bother to shoot it in Cleveland….

  2. I disagree. I was able to catch a screening in Europe. It was good and had potential to be better. It was well cast and acted. I will admit that it had length issues, but I’ve read that new edits have chopped out the drag and tightened the story. If it works – who’s going to care where it was filmed? The baptism scene in Godfather 1 was filmed in St Patrick’s church on Mulberry Street in Manhatten. When Michael exists the baptism – the steps he is standing on are at a church in suburban New Jersey!!! Who knew? Who cared? The scene works!

  3. @cause a ruckus. entitled to your opinion, which seem to include politics (state tax % forcing it to move to detroit). it will be a hit b/c of 2 reasons. one, based on the true story of the mafia turning on each other breaking the costra nostra code after the killing which will led to the downfall of the mafia. two, everybody wants to be irish. through out your life alll you have heard is ‘my family is from – county’, ‘my great grandfather is from…….’, i’m taking off for st. patrick’s day…….
