UPDATE: An arrest was made just prior to the 11:30 a.m. press conference.

No charges were filed at that point. No additional information was provided on the abductor, who was arrested near East 185th and Euclid. Johnson is safe, though she sustained a few injuries this morning.

“I want everybody to tell everyone that if you think somebody is missing or you think they’re in harm’s way, do not hesitate to call 9-1-1,” Commander Patrick Stephens says.

Cleveland police announced the search for Prescious Starr Alison Johnson today. The 27-year-old woman told a gas station clerk that she had been abducted Wednesday morning.

That took place at 5:45 a.m. today at the Marathon near East 55th and Woodland. She got into a red Saturn Vue (license plate EJD3640). Police report that she was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt and light-blue jeans.

  1. i’m glad that this missing persons case was handled seriously and she is safe now from whoever abducted her. i’ll look forward to that person going to prison for a very long time.
