More than 1,800 athletes from 36 states and 27 countries will come to Cleveland this weekend for the four-day USA Fencing North American Cup. The contest takes place from Friday to Monday at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission estimates the event will have a whopping $1,370,000 economic impact.

Fencers will have the chance to earn national points to qualify to compete at a national championship (national points are usually awarded to the top 32 finishers).

The event is open to the publicist; ticket prices range from $5 for single day to $15 for the full tournament and are available for purchase online and at the door.
