In today’s Dingbat Moment from the Campaign Trail ’16, Ohio’s own Gov. John Kasich proudly proclaimed that women “left their kitchens” for him when he first announced his run at the White House.

Binders full of women, in fact.

Oh, and, hey, Kasich, whose cinematic hero is William H. Macy in Pleasantville, signed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood in Ohio on Sunday.

Update: CNN producer Cassie Spodak tweeted this response from the Kasich campaign:

  1. The theme song for the phony baloney rhetoric and fake smiles from John Kasich should be Gil Scott-Heron’s “Whitey on the Moon”.

  2. Just another North Missitucky good old boy running his home-spun campaign to nowhere.

Does he use Yahoo? He should, because that’s what he is.

Okay, GALS…ya’ll kin high-TAIL it back to the KITCHEN STOVE now, y’hear?…don’t cut yore feetz or bump your tummies (insert barefoot and pregnant joke here).

Biggest and best joke of all: Kasich needs to accompany them out to the scullery…because his campaign is TOAST.
