A 62-year-old Mentor man narrowly escaped with his life on Thursday after he ran over a propane tank that fell off of the forklift he was operating.

The tank exploded, causing a fireball of epic proportions to consume his lift. It barely missed a passing car, and somehow the forklift driver walked away from the explosion alive.

He did suffer from burns, but was released from the hospital that same afternoon.

Here’s the report via ABC.
