We missed this in the Christmas and New Year rush, but GQ has a nice mini doc on Billy Joe White up on YouTube that’s worth your time. White is a tattoo artist in Zainesville and after offering to cover up racist tattoos for free, he has found himself in no short supply of takers.

You spelled “Zanesville” incorrectly.
I love clicking on scene and seeing a huge swastika.
Billy Joe White, the beautiful work that y’all are doing is not only changing the lives of your clients and their beloveds for the better, its effects are spreading ripples of love & compassion & acceptance that are indeed making our world a much better place to live and raise children. Doubtless your parents, from their vantage point in the Afterlife, are aware, and doubtless they are incredibly proud of the man you have become. I respect and admire you for all that you’re doing to bring down artificial boundaries established by a fearful few who were unable to recognize the goodness that God places within each of us and all of us. You inspire me to look within, to see what other talents I might have, other than through political means, for bringing peace, love, and joy to folks who suffer lives of financial and spiritual poverty. May God continue to bless the work of y’all’s minds and hands, and may you both live long, happy, and healthy lives. I’m delighted to know that you exist, and am gratified that we receive breath from the same Source. Pax et Bonum, Diane
