  • Zdara will be joining Set Nightclub on W 9th.

The stretch of W. 9th street between St. Clair and Superior — a block barren of entertainment, at least compared to W. 6th and E. 4th, except for Mallorca — will see the addition of two new dining/clubbing options soon.

Set Nightclub & Lounge (1360 W. 9th St., 216-298-4448), which is being co-run by club promoter Arnold Hines and XO owner Zdenko Zovkic, opened last weekend in the space most recently occupied by Club Shadows. The location had also housed Wilbert’s, Funky Buddha, and Trammps back in the day.

Down the street, in the space formerly known as Sunset Lounge, Zdara will be opening “soon.” The Mediterranean restaurant’s website isn’t completely up-and-running as of yet, but the dinner menu, sans pricing, is visible. Check it out here.

  1. Was it really called “Trammps”? I always thought it was just Tramp. Just saying. I mean, there were plenty of the dumb broads there, so plural and misspelled fits appropriately.
