People are still interested in Manziel stuff, right? Regardless, this video popped up online this week and you may laugh watching it (if only for the cringeworthy singing).

It was created by New York City-based Geoffrey Stevens, and stars Abby Holland. Here’s the description of th the video, per the “Happy In New York” blog:

Johnny Manziel has the number-one selling jersey in the NFL this season, but he doesn’t even play? Abby doesn’t know anything about football and she hates sports, but she thinks that’s total bullshit.

When she’s forced to watch a football game with her roommate and his friends one night, Abby’s daydreams find her inside a Pharrell Williams music video all about the one and only Johnny Football.

Apparently it’s a knock-off of Pharrell’s “Happy” video. Enjoy:

Here are the lyrics:

I don’t follow sports, but I know your name
Inescapable on TV and the news
Two amazing years at Texas A&M
You were a god and you won the Heisman
But now I hear you don’t even play
Picked by the Browns and you’re second string
It makes no sense to all of us here
So get off the bench and be the leader
‘Cuz you’re Johnny Manziel
Brian Hoyer please
Instead of you he starts
But he means nothing to me
And you got that cool nickname
Football, Johnny Football, Johnny Football
Gotta get traded to hit the field
To all of you who think Johnny Manziel could be the next Tom Brady, I say, “No way” and keep on dreamin’
But you’re Johnny Manziel
You should be leading the team
Now you’re just hangin’ out
And making lots of money
I don’t wanna root for you
Football, Johnny Football, Johnny Football
But not for long
Football, Johnny Football, Johnny Football
Better play soon or that name won’t last
