We felt like making acronym soup when we woke up this morning. Luckily a new report allows us to write the following sentence:

CAC (Cuyahoga Arts & Culture) passes along news from CPAC (Community Partnership for Arts & Culture), mined from the OAC (Ohio Arts Council) and others, about where artists in Cleveland live.

There. That satisfies our hunger.

Now to the actual news: A snapshot of what communities and neighborhoods harbor the most painters, singers, musicians, etc. in the Forest City.

  1. hahahahaha. wow. theres an actual count of how many “artists” there are in a given area? Was this on the last census or something? hahahaha dumbbbbbb

  2. Ok, that counts the artists that OAC knows about. There are so many others that are off the map and not in the cool places, going about their daily boring jobs, and still coming home and making art. There’s a big difference between Being An Artist and being an artist.
What really matters is that artists manage to get artwork made, and the people around them appreciate it and buy it to support them.
You don’t think there are artists in Parma? Think again. There could be one in your backyard!
