19ActionNews spells out a pretty terrible saga if it shakes out to be true. A Cleveland woman claims she was groped . . . while in the last stages of child birth at the hospital. Pouring more awful into the mix, the alleged groper was a hospital employee ministering to the victim. Not having clocked through that end of the birth motions personally, we can only imagine a sexual assault mid-push is about as horrible a situation as a mother-to-be can endure.
The alleged crime took place at Cleveland Clinic’s Fairview Hospital. The station, citing police reports filed with the Cleveland Sex Crimes unit, says the alleged perpetrator was a “student registered nurse anesthetist.” The guy was delivering a pain cocktail to the pregnant woman; during the procedure, he repeatedly sent the other nurse in the room out.
While the patient and nurse were alone, the woman says he groped her breasts, put his stethoscope under her clothing, and rubber her hand over his genitals. The woman eventually told the other nurse, who put the complaint in a doctor’s ear. Hospital security was called in.
The police are still investigating the alleged crime, and as of yet no charges have been filed. The nurse has been told to say away from the hospital in the meantime. The Clinic is helping police with their investigation.

The grammar and spelling in this article are terrible!
WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT GRAMMAR AND SPELLING IN THIS SITUATION! MY DAUGHTER HAS GIVEN BIRTH TWICE IN THIS PLACE AND WILL AGAIN EARLY NEXT YEAR, spelling and grammar are the least of our worries.
The grammar and spelling IS terrible…not “ARE”. “Is and are”, in this case, is still singular because together they are a singular group of nouns. Nice try though.
hope people don’t think this is anywhere near normal- Fairview is an outstanding place to have a baby. i wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Well there IS a problem there when this crap is happening…
