[image-1]Wooftstock, Geauga Humane Society’s annual outdoor dog and family friendly festival and fundraiser, will move to a new venue this year. The annual event will now take place at 10 a.m. on Sept. 10 at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field.

Local musicians Bill March, Amanda and Rick, All is Harvest, North Coast Goats and Matt Harmon will perform, and there will be a parade as well as a “best look contest.”

Older dogs can compete in a senior dog Olympics, and there will be various other contests, including ones for the “best kisser” and the best “owner look-a-like.”

The humane society hopes to raise $100,000 which will help Rescue Village provide care and programs to support thousands of homeless animals. Registration fees for Woofstock 2017 are $25 for adults. Kids ages 14 and under are free.
