Being part of a funeral procession only exempts you from certain laws. Like blowing through red lights, and driving under 10 mph. However some rules still apply. Like needing a valid driver’s license, and making sure your passengers refrain from hanging half their bodies out the window.

That’s the lesson from the Morning Journal, which reports on the case of some Lorain men who thought being part of a funeral procession gave them driving immunity.

  1. A 23 yr old driving without a license since he was probably what…16? So that means he’s been behind the wheel of a vehicle for at least 5 years? He sure slipped through the cracks of the law.

  2. who cares? Age simply qualifies you(in the eyes of the law) to drive legally. there are plenty of idiots with “valid drivers licenses”, who drive “legally”, but also drive like complete shit.

    Big deal.
