Zydrunas Ilgauskas is Now an Assistant Basketball Coach at St. Ignatius

That handsome mug to your right belongs to famous Cavaliers' center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Everyone's favorite 7'3" Lithuanian can now add to his (already lengthy) resume a new position: Assistant High School Basketball Coach. 

That's right, folks. If you missed the news last week, Z is now helping out the St. Ignatius basketball squad a couple times per week. Coach Brian Becker, Iggy's all-time winningest bball coach, is returning after a six-year hiatus. He's looking to improve on the Wildcats' 15-9 mark from last year under Sean O'Toole.

Becker and Ilgauskas are buds. 

Z won't be sitting on the bench during Ignatius games, but he's certainly making his presence felt in Sullivan gymnasium. 

"Anybody who is 7-3 and walks into the gym commands your attention," SIHS Athletic Director Rory Fitzpatrick told the NEOMG.
