“This is an exciting new venue and we are pleased to be a part of the Van Aken District,” says NUFM Executive Director Donita Anderson. “Our farms will be warm and tucked in among the current amazing stands.”
Winter offerings, all locally grown or produced, include root vegetables, winter greens, baked goods, dairy products, farm-fresh eggs, honey, maple syrup, poultry, beef and pork.
The markets will run Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon through March 30. The market will commence its 24th year outdoors at Shaker Square on Saturday April 6.
