Now that City Dogs Cleveland has officially settled into its new home at 9203 Detroit Ave., the kennel is ready to celebrate.

In honor of the new $7.3 million kennel, City Dogs is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event includes guided tours of the new facility, which are free and open to the public. Attendees can also meet the dogs, get free swag and even receive discounts on adoptions.

Some of the ceremony participants include Cleveland Kennel Manager, Colleen Siedlecki, Mayor, Frank G. Jackson, City Councilman, Matt Zone, members of the city council and anyone throughout the community who shares the love for dogs.

The features of the enhanced facility are a big step up from the old one, which was located on West 7th St. They include a more efficient layout for the convenience of volunteers, improved natural light and a comfortable atmosphere to support the health and wellness of the animals.

A new promotion is also kicking off tomorrow, with adoption fees getting lowered to $21 from March 7-17.

Looking to adopt a dog? You can email citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us or call  216-664-3476 to set up an appointment to meet your new pup. See all of the adorable dogs right here.
