Further investigation from the Ohio Division of Wildlife found five beautiful eggs inside the birds’ nest.
Instead of moving the animals “I decided to rework the schedule and let them naturally run their course and let the eggs hatch,” project manager Walt Gachuk told WKYC.
Working around the birds’ natural schedule means up to a two-month delay on that portion of the building, part of the $11 million development.
Happily, the baby birds hatched Saturday and a live birding web cam has already been installed (see below). Meanwhile, the buildings are slated for completion by October, with Ohio City Galley already open.
