Dennis Kucinich Hired As Fox News Contributor

Former U.S. Rep. Dennis! Kucinich seems to have found his post-politics calling: Working as an analyst for the Fox News Channel.

Wha- Wha- What?!

He'll begin work Thursday on The O'Reilly Factor, though his dashing mug will inevitably be seen across all programs.

According to the AP, "Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes said he's always been impressed with Kucinich's fearlessness and thoughtfulness on the issues." Unlikely bedfellows, though we suppose that's been Kucinich's calling card from the get-go.

“His willingness to take a stand from his point of view makes him a valuable voice in our country’s debate," Ailes said.

The former congressman noted that Fox has always welcomed his perspective on any number of matters.

Kucinich left office last month following a March 2012 primary defeat to U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur.
