The Church — The Singles Tour: 1980-2025
The Australian group that had hits in the ’80s with moody tunes such as “Under the Milky Way” and “Reptile” brings its greatest hits tour to the Rock Hall. The show begins at 8 p.m.
Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox
The Guardians take on a Chicago White Sox team that has improved dramatically from last year’s team. Tonight’s game commences at 6:40, and the series continues through Sunday. Saturday’s game will feature a patriotic cap giveaway.

America at 250
The Cleveland Orchestra celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with a program that includes Copland’s moving Lincoln Portrait and Gershwin’s An American in Paris, a “vibrant musical postcard bursting with jazz-infused rhythms and melodies,” as it’s put in a press release. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Blossom. Fireworks follow the performance.

Baldassarre Rock Orchestra
Local guitar hero Carl Baldassarre delivers a show that highlights classic rock hits from the likes of the Beatles, Queen, Chicago, the Who and Deep Purple. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at Music Box Supper Club.

Bubba Dubb
Celebrities such as Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A Smith, 50cent, Snoop Dogg and Gillie the Kid have borrowed catchphrases from this popular comedian who’s known for his Snitching on Rogers skits he posts on YouTube and Instagram. He performs tonight at 7 and 9:30 at the Funny Bone. He plays the club again at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Music in the Garden
These free concerts featuring local bands take place on the first and third Saturdays throughout the summer at the Ben Franklin Community Garden. You can bring a lawn chair, and admission is free. Tonight, the local string group Opus 216 performs.

The Lakewood Fourth of July Celebration
Lakewood’s Fourth of July celebration begins with a parade that goes through Lakewood Park at 10 a.m. Then, at 7 p.m., the Lakewood Project, Lakewood High School’s Youth Rock Orchestra, will perform at the Bandstand at Lakewood Park. The city of Lakewood will launch fireworks at Lakewood Park at approximately 9:45 p.m. Admission is free.

Light Up the Lake
This free Fourth of July celebration will begin at dusk over Lake Erie from the Port of Cleveland. Organizers suggest viewing from Settlers Landing, Flats East Bank, Superior Viaduct, Voinovich Bicentennial Park, Kirtland Park, Gordon Park, Edgewater Park, Whiskey Island and other parks throughout the city. The fireworks will last about 20 minutes.

The Phillips Brothers’ All-American Song Swap Concern
Formerly of the Cleveland band Rotary Ten, brothers Dan (Zapruder Point) and Scott (the Monologue Bombs) Phillips will reunite for this special show that’ll find them playing a mix of covers and original tunes. It begins at 6:30 p.m. at Spotlight Cleveland.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the 1975 film that still draws an exuberant, costumed crowd that likes to throw rice and dry toast and sing along to the songs in the movie, still draws big crowds to local showings. Expect a throng to show up for tonight’s screening that takes place at 10 p.m. at the Cedar Lee Theatre. Tickets cost $12.

Salute to America
Blossom’s traditional, star-spangled celebration with the Blossom Festival Band returns this evening with a mix of marches, patriotic favorites and an Armed Forces Salute. The concert begins at 8 p.m., and fireworks follow the music.

We’re All Gonna Die: Tribute to Sufjan Stevens
Singer-songwriter Prince Tucker put together this special tribute to the revered indie singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens, who, as press materials put it, “celebrates the people and places that make up a community.” The show begins at 7 p.m. at the Bop Stop.

Reggae Sundays
This special Reggae Sunday Happy Hour Concert series continues every Sunday through the end of the summer. The indoor/outdoor concert series will take place rain or shine with live music from 4 to 7 p.m. Music Box will also offer food and drink specials exclusive to the series.

Straight No Chaser
The vocal group performs at 7:30 p.m. at Northfield Park Racino. Known for its annual Christmas shows, the group will perform some of the best-known songs of summer from the last six decades, including Pharrell Williams’s “Happy” and Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance.”
