The Cuyahoga River was on fire this weekend and not for the reason you’re thinking.

In suits, shorts, jerseys and gowns, dozens of models lit up golden hour on the Flats East Bank on Sunday evening for fashion events guru Chrissy Cavotta’s latest venture with host Bella Mastrey, the Port Royale fashion show.

Nine designers showed off creme-colored purses, neon-floral swimsuits or fisher jean shorts in a followup to Cavotta’s runway show on INTRO’s rooftop last summer, one clear-skied, more intimate and diverse in its potential for the beach. Designers who showed off new work include Delphine-Bridal, Darcia Vega, Blank Easel, Rocco Atelier, Pseudo, Rollison Couture, Bruno Luce, Lucid Art and Ché Samoné Collection.
