After 20 years, this Saturday Jan. 15 marks lights out for Howl at the Moon Saloon. The Flats stalwart in the Powerhouse is being shuttered to make way for the long-discussed aquarium — a project that finally seems to be moving forward.

The final evening will feature six hours of Howl's popular Rock 'n' Roll Dualing Pianos. "We wanted to go out the same way we started," says promoter Don Mitri. "These talented Howl musicians play nonstop in rotation so there is absolutely no downtime. They also have a huge storehouse of songs in their heads so they can play pretty much any song that you can think of."

Doors open at 7 and the 21-and-over show starts at 8. Cover is five bucks.
