Art House gears up for boob-bearing debauchery with tonight’s Mardi Gras Tune-Up at the Lava Lounge. The third-annual bash features food, drinks, and plenty of spicy New Orleans-style music. Revelers are encouraged to come dressed in party attire — like masks, feathers, and beads — and put on their dancing shoes. Mardi Gras takes place February 20 in New Orleans, but this is a great (and closer) start to one of the nation’s best booze-filled blowouts. Proceeds benefit Art House, which holds annual mask-making workshops in anticipation of the Tune-Up. But after a couple of fruity Hurricanes, we’re guessing that really won’t matter much.
