If theres a theme to be found among the contrasting works in MOCAs Side by Side, its that art comes in all shapes and sizes. Ten local artists — including Laurie Addis, Thomas Frontini, and Erik Neff — contribute paintings, sculptures, and photographs to the show. A video installation about a womens rugby team shares space with a colorful textile piece, a slice-of-life photograph of a beach gathering, and an abstract painting of caves.
