Herbert Ascherman Jr.: 40 Years

While making his living in portraiture, Cleveland photographer Herbert Ascherman also pursued passions in other genres—street photography, nudes, and landscapes. This exhibition gathers approximately 60 key works, selected by Ascherman and Heights Arts, which powerfully represent his wide-ranging career. The exhibition features new gelatin silver and platinum prints, drawn from his archive of 120,000 black and white negatives, A gallery talk on Thursday, September 29, 7 p.m. offers an opportunity to hear Herbert speak about his life in photography, as well as hear new poetry written about the works on view. On view through October 15, 2016.
